This is one of the best spots in Sorrento to eat, drink, and people watch. We stopped a couple of times to get capuccino, sodas, and pastries which were the best we had in town. Highly recommend!

We visited here on many occasions during our stay in Sorrento during October. For us, this was the perfect place to relax and watch the world go by. Bar Ercolano was a bustling bar/cafe, but adequately spaced out enough so that you didnt feel cramped and squashed in. The staff here were attentive and friendly, and on a couple of occasions very kindly saved us our normal spot for our return later that day! We miss this place so much, such a nice vibe to the place. We will return! Thank you Bar Ercolano!

Situated in the heart of Sorrento and the Piazza Tasso, this great spot surprised with its fresh tuna salad and adorable goody basket that accompanied our drinks. Great spot for people watching and taking it all in.

Lovely place to sit and have a drink in Sorrento. Reasonably priced and not charged service or extra for just having a drink. A nice vibe in the busy square with attentive staff but not made to feel rushed. We didn’t eat but the food looked great.

The atmosphere is noisy because of its closeness to the road. The food was nice however inconsistent due to one of the plates coming without toast, however butter was given. The portions were slightly on the small side. Prices were affordable.

Fair prices and great service a pleasant surprise in Sorrento! This was the only place I visited in Sorrento where I didn't feel like I was overpaying for anything. The prices were completely reasonable, the service was fast, and the quality was excellent exactly what you hope for but rarely find in such a popular, high demand area. Honestly, based on the location, I expected it to be overpriced or touristy, but it turned out to be the total opposite. A great find!

Stopped in for some quick pastries and coffee before we had to meet our tour guides. The coffee was good, not too bitter, and my apple strudel was delicious. Sweet but not too sweet and soft enough to share with my 18 month old son. Thinking back to it now, if I knew I'd enjoy it as much as I did, I would have bought us 1 each! My parents and hubby also very much enjoyed their pastries.

A great place to sip a coffee and watch Sorrento go by on piazza Tasso. Bar Ercolano serves a great range of coffees, alcoholic drinks, food and pastries. A 135 year old cafe! Plenty of sitting overlooking the piazza. Very friendly and English speaking staff.
